Our Children Need Food!

We won’t go into any lengthy posts about how our children our desperate food in this time of national crisis. We are working closely with the Greenville School District Food Pantry to meet the following needs of families. As you can tell from the list below (date: April 2020), there is a shortage of essential food items. The food pantry needs the following items:
- Cereals boxes (2 boxes per family per week), we around 15-20 boxes of cereals in the pantry.
- Peanut butter (2 small bottles per family per week), we have around 40 small bottles.
- Jelly (we need one big one per family), we do not have any in our pantry.
- Crackers (we need on per family), we have around 15 boxes
- Pasta (2 boxes per family), we have around 10 boxes in our pantry
- Macaroni and Cheese (1 per family), we do not have any.
- Rice (1 small bag per family), we have 3 small bags in our pantry.
- Dry Mashed Potatoes (1 per family), we have 2 packages in our pantry.
- Dry Beans (White, Black, Pinto Beans, etc.) (1 small bag per family), .
- Lentils (1 small bag per family) we have 2 small bags in our pantry.
- Stove Tops Dry Ready Meals like Kitchen Helper Boxes (1 per family), we do not have any in our pantry.
- Tuna Fish (2 cans per family). We do not have any in our pantry.
- Salmon can type (1 per family) we do not have any in our pantry.
- Chicken Breast can type (1 per family) we do not have any in our pantry.
- Ham in a can 1 per family) we do not have any in our pantry.
- Chef Boyardee pasta with meat, meat ravioli, spaghetti and meatball, etc. (4 per family), we have around 30 in our pantry.
- Vienna Sausages (2 per family we do not have any in our pantry.
- Tomato Sauce (1 bottle per family) we have 15 small can in our pantry.
- Olives (1 per family) we have two cans in our pantry.
- Ramen Noodles (4 per family) we do not have any in our pantry.
- Any type of soups or stews (2 per family, we do not any in our pantry.
- Apple Sauce (1 carton of 4 per family) we do not have any in our pantry.
- Pinto Beans in a can (1 per family), we have 15 cans in our pantry.
- Chickpeas in a can (1 per family), we have 10 cans in our pantry.
- Black Beans in a can (1 per family), we have 10 cans in our pantry.
- Red Beans in a can (1 per family), we have 10 cans in our pantry.
- Cannelli Beans in a can (1 per family), we have 2 cans in our pantry.
- Refried Beans (only for Hispanic families and when have some, normally one per family), we have 2 cans In our pantry.
- Corn in a can (2 cans per family), we have around 25 cans in our pantry.
- Green Beans in a can (2 cans per family), we have around 30 cans in our pantry.
- Cream of Corn (1 per family), we have 15 in our pantry.
- Peas (1 per family), we have around 20 cans in our pantry.
- Carrots (1 per family), we have around 15 cans in our pantry.
- Potatoes in a can (1 per family), we have 3 cans in our pantry.
- Yams or Sweet Potatoes in a can (African American families, 1 big box per family), we do not have any in our pantry.
- Jiffy Boxes of Corn Meal (2 per family), we do not have any in our pantry.
- Cans of any type of fruit. (1 per family), we have 5 cans in our pantry.
- Granola Bars (1 bar per members in the house), we do not have any in our pantry.
- Dry Fruit (1 per family), we have 4 bags in our pantry.
- Sugar (1 bag per family), we have 2 bags in our pantry.
- Coffee (1 small per family), we do not have any in our pantry.
- Tea (1 small package per family). We do not have any in our pantry.
